GODFREY - A man was seriously injured with a head injury around noon time on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, after he had a seizure and fell on concrete in front of CVS Pharmacy in the 2700 block of Godfrey Road in Godfrey, according to the Alton Fire Department.

The Godfrey Road address where the man fell is in Alton Fire Department jurisdiction.

The fire department was called to the scene at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 18, 2026.

Derrick Richardson, an Alton Fire Department battalion chief, said the man was treated at the scene and transported to OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center. No other information about the man's condition was available at this time.
