Missouri Highway Patrol Investigates Deadly U.S. 67 Crash

WEST ALTON, Mo. — A fatal crash occurred late Friday night, Dec. 26, 2025, on U.S. 67 north of Missouri 94 in St. Charles County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 26, 2025, and involved a 52-year-old male driver operating a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro.

Troop C of the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

The patrol report stated the driver was traveling northbound when he left the right side of the roadway and overturned. Christian Hospital EMS personnel pronounced the driver dead at the scene at 10:27 p.m. Trooper J.E. Childers assisted at the crash site.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
