Officer Aden Davis Begins Journey With O’Fallon Police
The newest member of O’Fallon Police Department prepares to start academy training, signaling a promising career in law enforcement.
O'FALLON, IL. - O’Fallon Police Department welcomed its newest officer, Aden Davis, during a ceremony held recently. Commissioner Ed Martinez administered the Oath of Office to Davis, marking the official start of her law enforcement career.
Davis, designated as Officer O-146, will begin training this January at the Southwestern Illinois Police Academy, a 16-week program.

Upon graduation, she will return to the O’Fallon Police Department (OPD) to complete a 14-week Field Training Program, where she will apply her academy instruction in real-world policing.
The event, held at the OPD headquarters, drew many officers and their families, as well as retired Lt. Rob Schmidtke, who was hired 100 officers before Davis, highlighting the department’s ongoing legacy.
Schmidtke’s presence symbolized the connection between past and present members of the force.
The department expressed pride in welcoming Officer Davis and looks forward to her development in the field of law enforcement.
