ST. LOUIS COUNTY - St. Louis County Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Monday morning, Jan. 5, 2026, in the 2000 block of Switzer Avenue in Jennings.

Officers from the City of Jennings Precinct responded at 2:27 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, to a shooting report, where they found an adult male who had been shot. St. Louis County Police said the victim died at the scene from his injuries.
Detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading the investigation, which remains active.
Authorities have not released further details as the case develops.
