Police Investigate Homicide After Early Morning Shooting

Investigation continues to unravel circumstances behind fatal shooting reported before dawn Saturday.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Detectives are investigating a homicide after an adult male was found shot to death early Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in the 12100 block of Bellefontaine Road.

St. Louis County Police officers from the North County Precinct responded at 2:06 a.m. Saturday, to a ShotSpotter activation indicating gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, who had been shot at least once.

The Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is leading the investigation. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or details about a suspect.

Officials said the investigation is active and preliminary information may change. They encouraged anyone with information to contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
