While Trump and his MAGA sycophants try to roll back gun safety laws that prevent dangerous people from acquiring firearms, Gov. Pritzker signed legislation to hold irresponsible gun industry actors accountable, strengthen safe storage requirements in homes with children, and bolster Illinois' systems for combating illegal firearm trafficking.

Gov. Pritzker is committed to championing common sense gun safety reforms that reduce crime, protect communities, and prevent these tragedies — so that every Illinoisan is safe from the scourge of gun violence.
