Roxana Lady Shells Struggle Against Tough Breese Central Squad

ROXANA — The Roxana Lady Shells faced a challenging night on the court Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, falling 66-22 to the Breese Central Lady Cougars in a home conference basketball game.

Breese Central took control early, building a 21-7 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Cougars continued to dominate in the second quarter, extending their advantage to 41-11 by halftime.

The third quarter saw Breese Central push its lead further to 58-19. In the final period, the Lady Cougars outscored Roxana 7-3 to secure the decisive victory.

Roxana was led in scoring by Daisy Daugherty, who finished with seven points. Taylor Trame paced Breese Central with 21 points.
