Senator Harriss’ Share The Warmth Drive Delivers Warmth To Riverbend Families
Harriss thanks 56th District residents who donated hats, gloves, and more to help families stay warm this winter.
EDWARDSVILLE - Thanks to the incredible generosity of residents across the 56th District, State Senator Erica Harriss’ annual Share the Warmth Drive has wrapped up and was a great success! Donations collected over the month were delivered this week to Riverbend Family Ministries, helping local families stay cozy and cared for this winter.

“This year’s Share the Warmth Drive truly showed the heart of our community,” said Senator Harriss. “Every hat, glove, pair of socks, and hand warmer represents someone in our district looking out for a neighbor. I am so grateful to everyone who donated, spread the word, or volunteered to help. Together, we’re making a real difference for families in need.”
From November 3 through December 3, the drive collected essential winter items, including hats, gloves, socks, hand warmers, and chapstick, which will provide warmth and comfort to families facing hardship during the coldest months of the year.
“The 56th District continues to prove that compassion isn’t just a word—it’s action. Because of your generosity, families in our community will feel supported, cared for during the winter months ahead,” concluded Senator Harriss.
