Spencer Homes Male Athlete Of The Month: Senior Tucker Lindstedt Helps Give Tigers Competitive Edge With His Season-Long Efforts

EDWARDSVILLE - Tucker Lindstedt is one of the five seniors on this year's Edwardsville High School boys basketball team, and has been very supportive of his teammates as well as being a talented forward in the 2025-2026 season.

The Tigers move to the sectional semifinals for a contest against Alton at Mascoutah on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Lindstedt, as one of the club's seniors, is optimistic and confident that Edwardsville can continue on in postseason play with the Alton game ahead next.

"I like our chances," Lindstedt said. "I think with enough practice for any team, we can beat anybody. I like our chances a lot with anybody, really."

Preseason and early-season practice went well for Edwardsville, and Lindstedt was quick to praise the scout team for their efforts during practice against the other varsity members. He also believes the early preseason and early season practices help define Edwardsville as a team this year. Edwardsville also spends an enormous amount of time analyzing other teams before each game.

"Practice is always good," Lindstedt said. "Obviously, we have to shout out to the scout guys, because they learn a lot of plays quickly, and then we are totally prepared for almost anyone. I think everyone on the team has been competing all season long. I am really happy with the team. I think if we all play hard, play well, play together, we can continue in the postseason."
