Staunton Builds Strong Lead Early Against Jersey in Tournament Clash

ROXANA — Staunton secured a 63-41 victory over Jersey on Wednesday at the Roxana Hoopsgiving Tournament.

Staunton established an early advantage, leading 20-12 after the first quarter. The team extended its lead to 37-18 by halftime.

In the third quarter, Staunton pushed the lead further to 54-38 heading into the final period. The fourth quarter saw Staunton outscore Jersey 9-3 to seal the win.

Isiah Laux led Staunton with 20 points, followed by Bryce Coalson, who contributed 13 points.

Jersey’s top scorer was Andrew Koenig with 13 points.
