Talented Jersey Students Post Stellar Performances IMEA All-State Event

JERSEYVILLE — Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100 had five students recognized as All-State performers during a week at the Illinois Music Education Conference (IMEA) Jan. 28-31, 2026, where the JCHS Jazz Ensemble also performed.

The Jersey Community School District commended the All-State performers — Zoey Barnett, Chloe Hartman, Islee Hileman, Willow McCoy and Benjamin Zimmerman — and noted that the Jazz Ensemble “had the distinct honor of performing as well.”

“What an incredible week for JCHS Fine Arts at the IMEC!” the district said. “Congratulations to our All-State Choir and Jazz Band students, and a big shout-out to our Jazz Ensemble!”
