Friday starts mostly cloudy and mild, with temperatures in the low 60s during the morning and a light northeast breeze around 3 to 8 mph. Through the afternoon, clouds hang tough and keep the high near 69. Rain is not likely for most of the day, with only a small chance of a brief shower. By evening, an isolated shower may pop up, but many spots stay dry under a cloudy sky. Overnight, the chance of light rain ticks up a bit as temperatures ease back to around 60. Winds turn light.

The allergy index looks manageable overall, but tree pollen remains high and may be the main issue for people with allergies. Grass, mold and ragweed levels are low.
