Today's Weather: Morning shower, then gradual clearing

Wednesday starts cool and damp, with partly sunny skies and a spotty light shower possible early. Temperatures are near 47 in the morning, and it may feel closer to 50. A light west wind around 2 mph is in place early, with yesterday’s rain still leaving things a little soggy.

Wednesday evening looks quieter, with partly cloudy skies and cooler air settling in after sunset. Winds turn lighter, and conditions stay dry as the temperature slips through the 50s.

Overnight, the low drops to about 42 under partly cloudy skies. It will be a chilly finish to the day with a light northeast breeze near 5 mph. Allergy levels are worth noting: the tree pollen index is very high, while grass, mold and ragweed remain low.

Thursday brings a warmer day with a high near 65 and a low around 50. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with dry weather for most of the day.
