Monday starts mostly sunny and already warm, with temperatures in the mid-70s early and a light south-southeast breeze around 5 mph. It will feel a little stickier than the thermometer shows, with feels like temperatures closer to 79. Clouds will build through the morning as the day heads for an afternoon high of 76.

By afternoon, expect a breezy stretch with south-southwest winds around 15 mph and gusts up to 27 mph. A couple of thunderstorms are likely to develop, with a 97% chance of rain. Some downpours could briefly cut visibility and leave water pooling on roads, so it may be a good idea to keep the umbrella close and the windshield wipers ready.
