Ty Jansen is Positive Role Model at Highland High School

HIGHLAND - Ty Jansen has had a fun, busy four years of high school.

For his hard work, Ty Jansen is a Platinum Transportation Student of the Month for Highland High School.

Jansen is a graduating senior. He has played golf since his freshman year.

It takes a lot of responsibility and dedication to balance athletics and academics, but Jansen has done so gracefully. He has maintained his spot on the high honor roll throughout high school.

He recently joined the Highland Hooligans pep club, which has been a lot of fun. He also serves as an ambassador, a role in which he mentors and guides his fellow students. It’s important to Jansen to be a positive, empowering force in their lives.

Outside of school, Jansen has a few jobs and also volunteers with local initiatives. He loves playing golf and basketball, going to car meets, and spending time with his friends and family.

He knows exactly what he plans to do after high school. His teachers and loved ones will be cheering him on.

“I plan to attend SIUE and major in business with a minor in supply chain management,” he shared.
