U.S. Steel Donates $25,000 to Granite City Football, Cheer and Dance

Cheer, dance, and football at Granite City High School are set to benefit after the company delivered a sizable donation to the district.

GRANITE CITY - Granite City School District #9 has announced that United States Steel Corporation donated $25,000 to support Granite City High School cheer, GCHS dance, and Granite City High School football programs.

“A special thank you to United States Steel Corporation for their generous $25,000 donation to support our Granite City High School Cheer, GCHS Dance, and Granite City High School Football programs,” the school district said.

The district said the donation will support student extracurricular activities.

“Your continued investment in our students and extracurricular programs helps create incredible opportunities for our Warriors both on and off the field,” the school district said.
