Village Of Godfrey Seeks Community Input On Potential Recreation Center

GODFREY — The Village of Godfrey is asking residents to help shape the future of recreation in the community by participating in a Recreation Center Needs Assessment Survey. The survey is designed to gather resident feedback about the programs, services, and amenities they would like to see included in a potential recreation center. Survey results will help the Village establish community priorities and determine whether development of a recreation center is feasible.

The Village has hired ETC Institute, an independent research firm, to conduct the survey and analyze the results as part of the recreation center feasibility study.

How the Survey Will Work

ETC Institute will mail surveys through the United States Postal Service (USPS) to randomly selected households within the Village of Godfrey. Households receiving a survey will have three ways to participate:

• Complete the survey online using a unique access code assigned specifically to their household address; or
• Complete the printed survey and mail it directly back to ETC Institute using the return instructions provided with the survey; or
• Call the toll-free phone number to have your survey completed over the phone.

The survey will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Each response is important and will help provide a clear understanding of the community's recreation needs, priorities, and expectations.

Public input is a critical part of the planning process. The Village wants to hear directly from residents about what they would value in a potential recreation center and how future investments can best serve the community. By participating, residents will help the Village take a resident-driven approach to evaluating the potential recreation center and making informed decisions that can positively impact Godfrey residents for years to come.
