Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, community members can stop by Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill for a day of raffles, silent auctions, games and more fun. A 30-gun raffle is the big draw, and a 1752 Alweld Marsh Tiller boat is up for grabs with only 250 raffle tickets to be sold. The goal, explained organizer Jim Steward, is to connect the community and raise money for conservation through Ducks Unlimited.

“There’s Ducks Unlimited just about everywhere you go. They raise money to preserve wetlands and help the ducks and all migrating birds,” he said. “When you get into it and stuff and really find out what they do and how much they do, it’s amazing.”

Steward has been involved with the Alton chapter of Ducks Unlimited for several years. He wanted to organize a fundraiser, but was looking to do something different than a traditional dinner banquet.

This encouraged him and his wife to plan Webbed Feet Weekend for Oct. 10. While themed for hunters, the event has a variety of games and activities for all ages.

“I wanted to gear this particular event towards hunters of all sorts, fishermen, everything. It’s more of a hunting and fishing type of event.,” Steward explained.

Steward is especially looking forward to the 30-gun raffle. There will be packages included with each gun. You can visit the official webpage to see all the firearms that are available. Tickets for the 30-gun raffle cost $20.

You can also buy a $100 package, which gets you five entries into the 30-gun raffle and one entry for the $1,000 cash drawing. The $250 package gets you 15 entries into the 30-gun raffle and three entries for the $1,000 cash drawing.

Steward collaborated with Southern Mud - Bluegrass Iowa to bring a 1752 Alweld Marsh Tiller and 30HP Tohatsu with custom pain and LED work to Bunker Hill. There are only 250 raffle tickets available for this prize, and tickets cost $100 each.

You can buy the $500 ultimate buyer package, which includes 30 entries into the 30-gun raffle, seven entries to the $1,000 cash drawing, and two dream boat raffle tickets.

An Arkansas duck hunt is also up for grabs. There will be a silent auction, a duck-pull game, and more for people to enjoy.

Last year’s Webbed Feet Weekend was the highest-netting Ducks Unlimited fundraiser in Illinois. Steward hopes to break this record again in 2026.

He emphasized that the fundraiser is a way to support Ducks Unlimited’s mission to help migratory birds. The nonprofit works across North America to protect and restore wetlands.

Steward thanked the volunteers and donors who make it possible to offer this event. He hopes many people come out to Webbed Feet Weekend to learn more about Ducks Unlimited, support the organization, and have a great time.

“It’s going to be a big event,” he added. “We've got a lot of stuff to give away. If you enjoy any of this type of stuff at all, you’ll want to be there.”
