Woman Reported Missing in Alton Area
Following Heather Brown’s disappearance, family and friends are appealing to the public for support and information to ensure her safe return.
ALTON — Heather Brown, a woman in her mid-40s, is reported missing, prompting concern from her family and friends. She was last seen wearing jeans, grey shoes, a tan sweater, a zipper grey vest, and a black jacket, carrying a pink backpack.

Heather is in her mid-40s with brown hair when last seen. She is 5-foot-7, 120 pounds.
She was wearing jeans, grey shoes, a tan sweater, a zipper vest, and a black jacket when last seen. She also had a pink backpack.
Her car is a mid-2000s Silver/Goldish Lincoln MKZ, and it is also missing. It is possible she had the car towed to a mechanic.
Authorities and loved ones are asking anyone who sees Brown to contact the Alton Police Department immediately at 618-463-3505. The department has not released additional information about the circumstances of her disappearance.
Angela Bradford Valdes shared the notice on social media, urging the public to pray for Brown’s safety and to help spread the word in hopes of locating her.
