Gloria Richardson

Gloria Jean Richardson age 76, of Staunton, Illinois, formerly of Hamel, Illinois, died at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Heritage Manor in Staunton, Illinois. She was born February 1, 1941, in East St. Louis, the daughter of the late Martin Wm. & Juanita (Harris) Lauth. Gloria work as a bookkeeper in the Edwardsville City Clerk’s Office for many years before retiring in 2007. She married Roy W. Bouse on October 11, 1958, and they later divorced. She married Jimmie “Richie” Richardson on August 14, 1985, in Chesterfield, South Carolina. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2006. She is survived by two sons, Don Bouse & wife Kathy of Edwardsville, Dennis R. Bouse & wife Laura of Edwardsville; one daughter, E. Sue Barrett & husband Howard of Farmersville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kara Harmon, Johnna Barrett, Connor Bouse, Claire Bouse; and two great grandchildren, Kayden Bouse & Logan Harmon. Gloria was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Lauth; and one sister, Kathy Feig. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. The funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
