Tommy G. Neumann, 48, passed away unexpectedly at 9:05 am on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
He was born March 3, 1969 in Alton, the son of the late Thomas and Harriet (Garrison) Neumann.
He married Sami Elkins on August 2, 2002 in Bethalto, IL. She survives.
Tommy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he and his wife were married. He spent most of his time with his son Samuel, being as involved with his life as possible. He coached Little Eagles baseball, Boys and Girls Club baseball, youth football, was on the board for the Alton Renegades football club or anything that Samuel was involved in. He was a Devoted father and father figure to all of his sons friends.
In addition to his wife, Sami, he is survived by his son Samuel Neumann of Bethalto; two aunts Brenda Kopp and Donna Neumann; a cousin Melissa Hartman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Monica Garrison.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday June 28, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Thursday June 29, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Mark Hofferber officiating.
A private family burial will be at a later date.
