Anthony Mull

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Mull, 52, of Pocahontas, IL, passed away at 6:57 p.m. Wed. Sept. 23, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital ER in Highland, IL.

He was born Aug. 11, 1974 in Granite City, IL to Betty Sue (Nipper) Mull and the late Donald Wayne Mull.

Tony worked most recently as a carman for Canadian National Railroad but had also worked for Union Pacific and Alton Southern railroads.  He loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing and loved animals.

He and Sherrie (Bone) Dopson were married July 7, 2026 in Pocahontas, IL.  She survives.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by 2 children, Charlotte Mull of Glen Carbon, IL and Tony Mull of Greenville, IL, 2 step-children, Isaiah Tucker and August Tucker both of Pocahontas, and a sister, Tina (Brian) Tieman of Granite City.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at Noon, Tues. Sept. 29, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Mark Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Bond County Humane Society.
