Anthony 'Tony' Errandi, 84, surrounded by his eight daughters, passed away 7:35 pm, Friday, September 21, 2018.

Born in Wood River on September 11, 1934, he was the son of Victor Charles and Mary Grace (Nicosia) Errandi.

He had been an operator at Shell Oil before retiring.

On November 29, 1953 in Pocahontas, AR, he married Dotty L. Brown.  She died February 9, 2006.

Surviving are his daughters, Debbie Burney, Patti (Gary Sextro) Cundiff, Terri Ackmann, Tina (Leon) Rogers, Shari (Craig) Miner, Diana (Gary) Sikora, Melissa (Scott) Bateman, Kim (Gordon) Carver; 16 grandchildren, Amie (Brian) Slimick, Lisa (Tom) Shain, Kara Buttry (Tim Luca), Danielle (Drew) Huddleston, Joey Miner, Kristy (Anthony) Pollo, Rachel Bateman, Leah Bateman, Jacob (Ashley Palmer) Bateman, Anthony Cundiff, Kelsey (Bryan) Ryan, Tony Miner, Lauren Miner, Lexi Sikora, Catey Bellm, Anna Bellm; 14 great grandchildren, Isabella (Ryan) Stockton, Austin Slimick, Nahan Slimick, Hope Buttry, Trae Luca, Jonathon Shain, Alayna Shain, Liam Shain, Brynn Huddleston, Avery Huddleston, Addyson Huddleston, Scott Pollo, Melbalee Pollo, Olive Palmer Boyes; a great-great grandson, Brendan Stockton; brother, Victor A. "Vic" Errandi; sisters, Fran Henkhaus and Tina Doyle.

Preceding in death were his parents; wife; two grandsons, Joshua Rogers and Quinton Sikora; brother, Phil Errandi; and son-in-law, Paul Burney.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Wood River, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday.  Father Donald Wolford will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
