Anthony “Tony” Lee Walford, age 57, of Alton, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at his home.
He was born October 11, 1958, in Alton, the son of Lee Roy and Rose Walford.
Tony enjoyed fishing and watching old shows on television. He loved cooking and especially eating. Tony excelled at playing any kind of game. Karaoke was one of his favorite pastimes. Tony will be remembered as a happy, positive person who was very loving.
He is survived by three sisters, Cindy Walford of AZ (formerly of Alton), Rose Shaw Harrison of Oregon, and Shree Walford; a niece, Raevin Walford of AZ; many cousins, including his close cousin and her husband, Linda and John Welte of Alton.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 from 3 to 8:00 pm in the Banquet Room of Hill Crest Apartments, 1710 Muny Vista Dr. in Alton, with a Celebration of Life service being held at 6:00 pm.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton are in charge of arrangements..
