Barbara Burlison

Barbara A. Burlison, 70, went to her heavenly home, at 11:21 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Born in Alton on December 25, 1948, she was the daughter of John L. and Viola M. (Edwards) Flack.

Barbara had been a sales associate for Hudson Jewelers in Granite City for over 30 years.

On December 27, 1998 in Granite City, she married Ed Burlison.  He survives.

Surviving also are a son, Bryan (Dellonie) Tuggle of Alton; daughter, DaShelle Compton of Hartford; step-daughter, Michelle (Terry) Mims of Maryville; seven grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Mona) Flack of Hartford; nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Her parents and a step-daughter, Melissa Burlison preceded in death.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday, January 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday.  Rev. Darrell Bucher and Rev. T.L. Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
