Barbara Wolfe

Barbara Joan Wolfe, 88, of Alton, IL, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Fri. Aug. 26, 2016 at Integrity Healthcare of Alton.

She was born Apr. 14, 1928 in Pewsey Wiltshire England to the late William & Edith Nellie Hiscock.

On Aug. 1, 1945, she and Warren D. Wolfe were married at St. John the Baptist church in Pewsey while he was serving in the U.S. Army.  They were married 60 years before he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 2006.

Mrs. Wolfe had worked at the Comet Drive In and Skaggs Steakhouse.  She was a long time Wood River Moose member and was a Senior Regent.

Survivors include 2 sons: Terry & Angela Wolfe and Peter & Pauline Wolfe of Alton and their families.

Private burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
