Barrie A. Daube, 51, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Alton Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.He was born June 2, 1965 in Staunton, Illinois, to Allen and Janice (Schien) Daube of Worden IL.He married Paula J. Gray on September 3, 1994. She survives.Barrie was a member of Trinity Lutheran in Worden Il., IBEW 649 Union, several golf leagues, and The Alton Moose Lodge. His easy going personality and sense of humor made him a friend to all. Barrie enjoyed golf, movies, basketball, poker, softball, bowling, board games (which he always had to win), vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks, and spending time with his family and friends. Barrie’s selflessness will continue as he gave the gift of life to others as an organ donor. He loved his children and grandson with all his heart. They were his world. His friends and family, as well as his golden retriever, Peanut, and his cat, Leroy, will forever love and miss him.In addition to his wife, Barrie is survived by his Parents; three children, Tyler Daube of Gillespie IL, Miranda Daube of Bethalto IL, and Erika Daube of Brighton IL; one brother and spouse, Todd and Sharon Daube of St. Louis MO; one grandchildren, Brayden Daube of North Carolina; two special cousins Mike and Tina Daube of Hamel IL; and several nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.A second visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden IL, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017. Pastor H.R.
