Betty Carle

Betty Lou Carle, nee Kannewurf , 93, of Belleville, Illinois, born Thursday, November 19, 1931, in St. Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Benedictine Living Community at the Shrine in Belleville, Illinois.

Betty worked as a secretary for Mt. Carmel Cemetery. She enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and ball dancing, and was a member of Rob Morris Chapter #98 O.E.S. for over 50 years. She loved her gardening and arts and crafts, especially needlepoint.

She was preceded in death by her:

Funeral: Funeral will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Kurrus with Rev. Jonathan Bangera officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Evangelical Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
