Betty Gregory

Betty Jane Gregory, 73, passed away 5:10 pm, Friday, November 23, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Wood River on October 5, 1945, she was the daughter of Ernest V. and Jane C. (Young) Hinthorne.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Allen of Wood River, Lori (Billy) Haney in Texas; grandchildren, Ciara (Donnie) Spann, Nika Allen (Jeffrey Edgar), Anthony C. Allen, Darby (Kristina) Sharp, Dallas Sharp, Tori (Trey) Koudela, Ashley Haney, Cole Haney, James Fagan; great grandchildren, Jaxon and Rowan Spann, Jeffrey Edger, Jensen Edgar (expected in February), Cooper and Eaton Sharp; brother, Richard (Glory) Hinthorne of Staunton; sister-in-law, Betty Hinthorne; several nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Her parents; five brothers, Bill, E.J., Ernest, Jr., Robert and George Hinthorne; and three sisters, Phyllis Cerney, JoAnn Fritzsche and Shirley Kehr preceded in death.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until time of service at 2 pm, Saturday, December 1 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.  Rev. Dan Powers will officiate.
