Betty Rieso

Betty J. Rieso, nee Wiskamp, 87, of Freeburg, IL, born Sunday, March 31, 1937, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Betty was a retired secretary from Emmanuel U. C. C. in East St. Louis and worked at Christ U. C. C. in Belleville for many years. She was a member of Al Sihah Temple # 29 Daughters of the Nile, and volunteered at Memorial East and Heartland Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Brother: Harry Lee Wiskamp

Funeral:Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Private family interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
