Brenda Phillips

Brenda J. Phillips, 68, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at her home.

Born May 3, 1949, she was a daughter of Clyde D. and Betty L. (Wilson) Holland.

She married Robert D. “Bob” Phillips Sept. 8, 1967, and they just recently celebrated their 50^th anniversary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert Douglas Phillips of Cottage Hills; two sisters, Vickie and Kathy; and a brother, Carl Douglas Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Phillips; and a brother, Michael Holland.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 2 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 11 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
