Brent Teets

Brent Adam Teets, 32, of Jerseyville, IL, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Thurs. July 27, 2017 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, MO.

He was born July 26, 1985 in Alton, IL to Deana Lynn (Lackey) Korte of Dunlap, TN and the late Brent Lawrence Teets.

Brent was a U.S. Navy veteran, an avid Cardinal fan and currently worked for McCann Concrete.

In addition to his mother and step-father, Ronald Korte of Dunlap, TN, he is survived by a daughter: Faith A. Teets and her mother, Jessica A. (Smith) Teets of Granite City; a sister: Hope Gillen of Dunlap, TN; grandmother: Jean Beckwith of Bethalto, IL; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces and dear friends.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his aunt and friend, Kristi Burton.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon. 7/31/2017 at Paynic Home for Funerals.  A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Tues. 8/1/17 for graveside services at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with military honors.
