Carol Alesandrini

Carol I. Alesandrini, 55, passed away at 3:19 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. 

She was born on August 24, 1969, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Jack and Shirley (Briggs) Hyman. Carol married Ronald Alesandrini on August 1, 1987 in Bethalto. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2024.

Carol loved Halloween, crafting, and country music. She enjoyed working on projects. Carol's most precious time, was spent with her friends and family.

Survivors include her father, Jack Hyman; her five children, Tommy Alesandrini of Cottage Hills, Jessica (Zach) Huntsman of Bethalto, Sara Alesandrini of Alton, Ronald L. Alesandrini, III of Alton, and Isaac Alesandrini of Cottage Hills; siblings, Bill (Rhonda) Bean of Indiana, Linda Kudelka of Meadowbrook, Debra (Bill) Yates of Grafton, Lisa (Mark) Johns of Wood River, Mike (Joyce) Hyman of Wood River, and Jane Hyman of Jerseyville; and three grandchildren, Addison Alesandrini, Zoey Huntsman, and Dean Huntsman.

Along with her mother, Shirley, and husband, Ronald, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Edward Bean, Ernest Hyman, and Tina Hyman; two brothers-in-law, Gary Kudelka, and Rick Taviner.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, where services will also be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. Reverend William Yates will officiate. 

Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Siteman Cancer Center.
