Carole Ridenhour

Carole Joyce "CeeJay" Ridenhour, 81, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:08 p.m. Tues. Jan. 8, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born Dec. 21, 1937 in Hillsboro, IL to the late James Russell & Carrie Alberta (Alexander) Roberts.

On June 8, 1962, she and Keith L. "Mick" Ridenhour were married in St. Louis. He preceded her in death in 2008.

Mrs. Ridenhour was an R.N., serving with Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and several area nursing homes. She was an avid reader and bird watcher.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Daniel "Dan" & Rebecca Ridenhour of Granite City; and a grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: James Roberts; and a sister: Gail Shakespeare.
