Charles L. St. Clair, 65, passed away at 5:41 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Hospital.

  Born June 13, 1945 in Alton, he was a son of William and Mary (Thornhill) St. Clair.

  The U.S. Navy veteran worked as a restaurant manager for 20 years, retiring in 2001.

  Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Robyn (Charlie) West of Jupiter, Fla. And Dana and Jeff Golaszewski of Wood River; four grandchildren, Jerald, Shane, and Ryan West and Preston Golaszewski; 3 brothers and a sister-in-law, Bob and Hayley St. Clair of Lafayette, La., Bill St. Clair of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and John St. Clair of Little Rock, Ark.; and a sister, Connie Clark of Mattoon, Ill.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Heather St. Clair.

  Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where Rev. David Brown will officiate services at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20.

  Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Charles St. Clair Family.
