Charlotte McCowen

Charlotte B. McCowen, nee Kaesberg, 80, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, July 13, 1945, in Victoria, TX, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Charlotte was a 1963 graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame in Belleville, IL, and was known for her generosity, kindness and her love for animals, especially dogs.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband of 51 years: Redmund A. McCowen
  • whom she married on November 6, 1965, and who died on August 11, 2017
• Parents: Maurice and Ruth, nee Schlesinger, Kaesberg
• Brother: Jon Kaesberg

Surviving are her:

• Brother: Don (Sharee) Kaesberg of Brighton, TN
• Sister: Mary Muren of Shiloh, IL
• Dear nieces and nephews

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.

Services: Private family interment will be held at Greenmount Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
