Charlotte Wilson

Charlotte Julia Wilson, 86, of Gillespie, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 8:35 am. She was born August 14, 1940, in Litchfield, IL to Leonard Broderick & Charlotte Brand Broderick. 

She was a grocery store cashier. Charlotte enjoyed art, crafts, painting, music, dancing, plays, musicals and the St. Louis Blues. 

She is survived by her daughter, Beth (spouse, Larry) Johnson of Iowa, son, Jeffrey (spouse, Jose "Tony" Villalobos) Broderick of California, grandchildren, Devynn Johnson, Piper Johnson and brother, Leonard (Cindy) Broderick of Staunton, IL. 

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and spouse, Frank Wilson. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with funeral services to follow at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
