Christine Russell

Christine R. Russell, age 84, passed away at 6:27 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at her residence in East Alton with her family by her side.

She was born on July 5, 1926 in Alton the daughter of Leonard and Annabelle (Taylor) Booher.

She married Jay E. Russell in St. Charles in 1942 he preceded her in death on January 25, 1997.

Two sisters Darlene Russell of East Alton, Betty Yost of Wood River, one brother and his spouse Robert and Ruth Miller of East Alton and many Nieces and Nephews survive her.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, one son Jimmie Jay Russell, two brothers Arthur Booher, Frank Miller and one sister Melba Fitzpatrick.

Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial may be given to the America Cancer Society.
