Christine Wildhaber

Christine E.M. Wildhaber (nee Morrison), age 79 of St. Jacob, IL, died Friday, December 26, 2025, at San Gabriel Memory Care in Highland, IL.

She was born on Tuesday, January 22, 1946, in Leatherhead, England, the daughter of Alexander Ross and Irene Ruby (nee Macgregor) Morrison.

On Saturday, May 8, 1965, she married Dale Leo Wildhaber in St. Louis, MO, who passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

She was a member of Woodmen of the World/Highland Camp #105, St. Jacob Fire Auxiliary and the former St. Jacob Methodist Church.

Christine worked as a Teacher's Aid for Triad School District for many years until retirement. She attended Cleveland High School, St. Louis, MO and graduated in 1964. She enjoyed reading, swimming, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Her and her husband Dale had enjoyed traveling to Europe, Canada, and Alaska along with Southern and Western states. She collected Wedgwood Jasperware and loved Penny-Farthing Bicycles.

She was preceded in death by:

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Dan Perry, officiating.

Interment will be at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob Fire Department.
