Christopher Ott

Christopher Michael Ott, 43, formerly of the area, passed away 5:03 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Christian Hospital NE in St. Louis County.

Born in Alton on May 6, 1975, he was the son of Janet (Shade) Weber of East Alton and Donald Ott of South Roxana.

He had been a self-employed private investigator and a disc jockey for Silks Entertainment.

Surviving in addition to his parents are, step-mother, Betty Ott; step-father, Dennis Weber; companion, Debbie Pearce of Palm Harbor, FL; step-son, Shaye Scott of Palm Harbor, FL; step-daughter, Courtney (Nicholas) Marangos of Bedford, NH; three grandchildren; brothers, Jamie (Tanya) Ott of Bethalto, Jeremy Weber of East Alton; step brother, Jason Cooper of Edwardsville; sisters, Megan Weber of East Alton, Angela Rook of Rosewood Heights; and step-sister, Monica (Tom) Payne of Wood River.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, January 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
