Clifford Tucker

Clifford John Tucker, 61, passed away 12:42 pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 in Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Alton on May 29, 1957, he was the son of Mae (Hausman) Adams of Alton and the late John Tucker.

He had been a maintenance man for Storey Properties and Argosy Gaming before retiring.  He enjoyed fishing, reading and gardening.

On October 21, 1995 in Meadowbrook, he married Barbara Hancock.  She survives.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are sons, Craig (Tosha) Lind of Roxana, Caleb (Sara) Whorl of Alton; daughters, Christine Tucker (Michael Rodriguez) of Wood River, Nikki Whorl of Alton, Cora Tucker of Royal Lakes; 12 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; sisters, Jeri (Skip) Harvill of Gillespie, Darlene (Charles) Vaughn of Royal Lakes and Vanessa (Ron) Baxter in Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service at 11 am Saturday at Cornerstone Church in Bethalto.  Pastor Erik Scottberg will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials my be made to the Lung Association.
