Crystal Chartrand

Crystal Chartrand, 57, of Bethalto, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

She was born in Brighton, CO, on April 6, 1969, the daughter of the late Curtis Francis and Carol Louise (Smith) Rosser.

Crystal is a Civic Memorial High School graduate. She loved to go camping and had a special place in her heart for animals. Crystal's love for her family, especially grandchildren, was unmatched.

She is survived by her children, Matt (Amie Clemens) Chartrand of Bethalto, Laura Berry of East Alton, and Jeremy (Ashley Zinzilieta) Berry of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Curtis Chartrand, Nora Chartrand, Aubrey Berry, and Addyson Clemens; and a brother, Clint (Vanessa) Rosser of Alton.

Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. No services will be held at this time.
