Daniel Cunningham

Daniel K. Cunningham, 61, of Fairview Heights, IL, born October 29, 1964, in San Bernardino, CA, died Monday February 2, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Danny loved golf, barbequing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Family was his greatest joy and he loved spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kyle Smith; and a niece, Amanda Hinote.

Danny is survived by loving wife of 30 years, Connie Cunningham, nee Gentle, whom he married on July 22, 1995; two sons, Anthony Cunningham and Jonathan Gentle; three daughters, Darla Gentle (Kourtlynd Thomas), Amber Gentle (Michael Galluzzo), and Mary Gentle; his parents, Harold and Patricia, nee Munie, Cunningham; two sisters, Cindi Cunnigham and Brenda (William) Hinote; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
