Daniel Moore

Daniel “Dan” Moore, 88, passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab. 

He was born on December 27, 1936, in Pinckneyville, Illinois, the son of the late Leland and Meda (Ferrari) Moore. He married the former Carol Hutchings on September 7, 1989, in Pinckneyville, and she survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son in law: Bobbie and Kevin Barnett of Rosewood Heights, two grandchildren: Jeremy (Melissa) Barnett, Timothy Barnett, two great grandchildren: Caden Barnett, Aurora Barnett, three brothers and sisters in law: John and Linda Moore of Rockford, Illinois, Everett and Clydine Moore of Steeleville, Illinois, Louis and Nedra Moore of Pinckneyville, Illinois, and many other extended family and friends. 

Dan was employed as a truck driver for over thirty - eight years at Olin Winchester. He loved gardening. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
