David Wilson

David M. Wilson, 77, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016.

Born in West Frankfort on July 11, 1939, he was the son of Wilbur F. and Maud (Dimmick) Wilson.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a supply specialist; he had been the Vice-President of mortgage lending for Wood River Savings and Loan (which became Metro Savings Bank) for over 37 years.  He has served as a Past Master of Franklin Masonic Lodge #25 in Alton.

Surviving are a nephew, Scott Schram and his wife, Susan of Ellis Grove, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and a sister, Dana Schram preceded in death.

Private services were conducted by members of the Franklin Masonic Lodge.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
