Deann Dixon

Deann S. Dixon, 55, died at 9:42 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1957 in Alton the daughter of Orville J. and Nancy (Greenwell) Dixon. She was of the Christian faith and a loving mother to her daughter, Ann L. Smith. Besides her daughter she is survived by three brothers; John Dixon (Stephani) of Collinsville, Billy Dixon and Kitty Davis of Alton, and Terry Dixon of Alton, two sisters; Mary Edelin (Bud) of Alton and Paula Larver of Alton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Dixon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon Monday, October 29, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
