Delores Stolze

Delores Jean Stolze, 82, died at 6:50 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  She was born August 3, 1934 in Godfrey the daughter of the late Glen Dee and Pearl Marie (Roberts) Henderson.  She was a breakfast cook at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years.  She was a volunteer for the Foster Grandparents Program where she received The Presidents Call to Service award for over 4,000 hours of community service.  Surviving are two sons ; Richard Stolze (Pam) of Godfrey and Jerry Stolze (Trish) of Alton, four grandchildren; Matthew Stolze, Michael Stolze, Eric Stolze and Andrew Stolze (Megan).  She was preceded in death by  one brother; Glen Henderson, one step sister; Carol O’Neal and one step-brother; Richard O’Neal.   A memorial service will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Elm Street Presbyterian Church in Alton with Reverend Bill Veith officiating.
