Delores Gutierrez

Delores M. Gutierrez, 78, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Eldercare Nursing Home. 

Born August 12, 1932 in Holcomb, MO, she was the daughter of Richard and Betsy (Wilson) Granger.  She retired from the Central Baptist Children’s Home as a family aid specialist and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto. 

Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Diane Gutierrez of Carterville, IL, three grandchildren, Melvin J. Gutierrez Jr., Joshua Gutierrez and Aimee Gutierrez, one brother, Richard Granger and one sister, Flora Davis. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Granger and Connie Island and one sister, Dorothy Longhery. 

There will be no service.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
