Dennis Hogan

Dennis R. Hogan, age 74, of Granite City, IL, born on November 5, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Denny was a former supervisor at the Dial Warehouse Distribution Center in Edwardsville, IL. He was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed astronomy and nature. Denny was a member of the Sierra Club, conservation causes, and he just enjoyed being outdoors.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Francis Hogan and Mary Margaret Stacey; and his siblings, Ronald Hogan, Brian Hogan and Ann Hogan.

He is survived by his former wife, Cindy Purkaple of Granite City, IL; his sons, Bradley Hogan and Matt Hogan of Granite City, IL; his brothers, Raymond (Rose) Hogan of Cobden, IL, and Mike Hogan of Belleville, IL; and his sister-in-law, Karen Hogan of Freeburg, IL. Denny is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
