Dennis Greer

Dennis Ray Greer, 60, passed away Friday January 5, 2018 at Integrity Healthcare in Godfrey with his loving wife and children by his side. He sailed away on his ship to heaven at 9:14 a.m. Dennis was born on February 20, 1957 at Wood River Hospital to James Greer and Georgia (Farley) Greer. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army. Surviving him is his wife: Theresa Louise (Goff) Greer, his children: Jennifer (Gary) Scott, Christina (Chad) Malloy, Deanna Greer, Kris (Ginnie) Goff, Shawn (Carrie) Quinn, Patricia Greer, and adopted: Vickie Hildred, his grandchildren: Garrett, Jordan, and Lindsay Meyer, Raelynn & Willow Scott, Gavin & Lauren Goff, Gary Morgan III & Nova Morgan, Ayden & Ashlynn Quinn, Lexi Swanner, Paige Ward & Shelby, his siblings: Bruce (Jody) Greer & Amanda March. He is preceded in death by both his parents, and his siblings: Lynda Golemor, Lonnie Greer, and Larry Greer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Alexander & Gubser Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 12 (noon) on January 13, 2018 at Dow Southern Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend David Brown. Military Rites by Jerseyville American Legion Post #492.
